Alberta  Backcountry Horsemen

Our interim board of directors and committee members — all of whom are volunteers — are working diligently to develop key areas of this association. While this takes considerable time and effort, it also takes money. You can support us by becoming a member and adding a little extra monetary contribution and/or providing a ‘gift in kind’ that could be used for fundraising or association development.

 

Our areas of focus currently include:

 

• funding and revenue streams

• marketing and communications

• documentation and process building

• membership growth and chapter development

• identifying potential workbee projects, and

• collaborating with other community stakeholders and groups.

• Please be aware that while we are a registered Society in the Province of Alberta, we are not a registered non-profit and official tax donation receipts can not be issued.

• Businesses making contributions of $50 or more, however, may receive a receipt as an advertising/marketing expense and will be listed on our sponsorship page.
